沈没船を探索!

00:00
this ship was actually once wanted by
00:03
the FBI and Interpol
00:06
here's a we're thinking is it possible
00:08
that something was missed did the
00:11
authorities overlook something on the
00:12
ship and is there something still hidden
00:14
in the remains of the Hilma hooker just
00:16
100 feet below the waves well there's
00:21
only one way to find out
00:31
[Music]
00:33
[Applause]
00:45
how's it going everybody
00:47
I'm mark vinz and welcome back to
00:49
another blue wilderness adventure today
00:51
we're at Bonaire an island just off the
00:53
coast of Venezuela it's a site of one of
00:55
the most famous shipwrecks and all the
00:57
Caribbean the hill the hooker
00:59
besides being 100 feet below tropical
01:02
blue water amongst some of the most
01:03
vibrant coral reefs in all the world
01:05
this ship was actually once wanted by
01:09
the FBI and Interpol and is now infamous
01:11
for becoming one of the first major drug
01:13
busts of its kind in the region and
01:16
here's a weird thing did the authorities
01:18
overlook something on the ship and is
01:20
there something still hidden in the
01:22
remains of the Hilma hooker just 100
01:24
feet below the waves well there's only
01:27
one way to find out
01:29
today we're gonna be doing two tanks
01:31
each the reason we're going to be doing
01:33
that is because we're gonna have a
01:34
limited bottom time at these depths so
01:37
on tank 1 we're going to scout the ship
01:39
in its entirety looking for entry points
01:41
tank 2 we're going to enter the ship and
01:44
look for what's inside and with any luck
01:46
we're gonna find something the FBI
01:48
missed and one of its most wanted
01:50
shipwrecks and all look here we are
01:52
this is marker number one alright it's
01:54
time to die here we go divers going down
02:05
well the first set of good news is that
02:08
the water is warm and the visibility is
02:12
outstanding today and since we wanted to
02:15
send slowly we might as well go check
02:18
out the coral reefs right I mean the
02:20
shipwrecks not going anywhere
02:22
Wow look at how alive this ecosystem is
02:27
there are so many fish here and the
02:30
parrot fish are especially colorful near
02:32
Bonaire just like this one and check
02:37
that out
02:37
that's a peacock flounder I love the way
02:40
they glide across the bottom when they
02:42
swim
02:45
oh wow alright check this out this is so
02:51
bizarre
02:52
that's a South chain I haven't seen many
02:55
of these before but we should probably
02:57
come back and make a full video on them
02:59
they're very interesting so definitely
03:01
let me know in the comments if this is
03:02
something you'd like to learn more about
03:05
alright getting toward the edge of the
03:08
reef line now but wow look at that
03:11
that's a tarpon I should say those giant
03:13
tarpon they're huge
03:15
so cool alright let's head this way
03:21
oh my goodness there it is
03:26
the Hilma hooker in all its glory man it
03:30
is so much bigger than I expected its
03:33
massive
03:34
look at it okay let's start our survey
03:38
from the front and make our way toward
03:40
the back of the ship which is a little
03:42
bit showering remember we're looking for
03:45
any openings or places that we can
03:47
search and we only have about 18 minutes
03:50
left down here so we're just looking for
03:52
opportunities for dive number two so we
03:54
can go right back to that spot and give
03:56
it a good look all right Trent on this
03:59
side of the ship
04:00
is going to be what we're looking for
04:01
let's get closer whoa
04:06
low bridge there look out okay well this
04:11
is the giant opening that will give us
04:12
direct access to the cargo hole and it
04:15
will also be a relatively safe and open
04:17
place for us to search one thing we want
04:20
to avoid is putting ourselves in places
04:22
without an easy exit to search deep
04:25
within the confines of this boat we
04:27
would need completely different gear so
04:30
today's dive will be limited by those
04:32
realities
04:35
okay this is interesting but a very
04:38
tight squeeze with minimal accents
04:41
probably can't go through this one let's
04:44
move on I cannot get over how huge this
04:52
boat is look at how far up it goes
04:55
[Music]
04:57
alright another tight squeeze here but
05:01
this port looks doable
05:08
yep I think this one in the main cargo
05:11
hold our best bets time to head back to
05:14
the surface in regroup
05:23
nice job Trent way to go bud number one
05:31
looks dive number one was incredible
05:35
first of all let's talk about the ship
05:37
itself a 235 foot boat sounds big but
05:40
when you see it in person underwater it
05:42
is like whoa covers all of your
05:45
peripheral vision and the good news is
05:47
we did do a complete lap around the
05:49
wreck and we saw multiple points of
05:51
entry which is good news for dive number
05:53
two so on this dive we're actually gonna
05:55
go inside the ship to start looking
05:57
around and as big as it is
05:59
I can guarantee you there's lots of
06:01
places for things to hide so we got a
06:03
couple more minutes of interval here on
06:04
the surface we're gonna get geared back
06:06
up head back out in the water and hope
06:08
to get lucky all right there it is let's
06:12
go down and see what we can find
06:21
well here goes nothing
06:26
okay so the first place you want to
06:28
check out is the center cargo hold any
06:31
hidden cargo may have drifted or fawn
06:33
out of place after all these years the
06:35
ship has been slowly disintegrating and
06:37
collapsing beneath the waves so I think
06:39
we have a decent shot at spotting
06:41
something in the open
06:45
all right Trent pulled above and keep
06:47
eyes on me
06:48
I'm going in
06:55
whoa the wreck suddenly just got even
06:59
bigger this hold is like a giant cavern
07:05
and you can tell it's been down here for
07:08
a while look at all the growth in life
07:10
living right on the metal of the hull
07:14
okay here's a connector hatch that leads
07:17
to the other hold in front of us this is
07:21
safe plenty of room to move and exit if
07:24
needed come on through Trent we're good
07:27
to go over here
07:37
okay I see some debris down here at the
07:40
bottom let's go check it out that's not
07:45
going anywhere
07:46
thought I might be able to look
07:48
underneath it but that is stuck in place
07:50
let's move on okay cool I think we found
07:57
the engine room look at all those pipes
08:03
well there's no way we're going in there
08:05
way too dangerous but still pretty cool
08:08
to see would love to come back and
08:10
explore that room a bit more
08:19
okay we've got about a 15-foot hallway
08:22
here with a clear exit I'm going for it
08:26
Trent meet me on the other side this
08:28
appears doable and it's also probably
08:31
our best and last chance to find
08:33
something today fingers crossed
08:37
[Music]
08:47
okay whoa there are so many other
08:51
passages in here we definitely couldn't
08:53
tell that just looking from the outside
08:54
so many places to search I wish we could
08:58
go further end but we just can't risk it
09:00
I have to keep that easy exit in sight
09:03
at all times but I can't pop the camera
09:06
up for a quick peek well that looks
09:13
promising so many places to hide things
09:15
on this boat I can totally see how it
09:18
was used for smuggling and we're clear
09:23
all right let's start our set
09:29
look at how giant that propeller is must
09:32
be 20 feet blade to blade I guess you
09:36
need a propeller that big if you're
09:37
gonna move about this huge okay almost
09:40
to the surface let's take one last look
09:43
at the helmet the FBI's most wanted
09:47
shipwreck
09:51
oh man that was awesome
09:58
we actually got inside the shipwreck
10:00
going through all those corridors
10:02
exploring around with our high-powered
10:04
lights unfortunately we didn't find
10:06
anything that we had one incredible
10:08
experience and hopefully this is just
10:10
the first of many shipwreck explorations
10:12
to come on blue wilderness alright so I
10:16
gotta kick our way to shore so if you
10:17
ever have missed adventure exploring our
10:25
first deepwater shipwreck was incredible
10:28
unfortunately we didn't find anything on
10:30
that second dive in the Hall of the
10:32
Hellmouth hooker but that's not to say
10:34
it isn't out there I mean that is a big
10:37
shipwreck to explore and to properly do
10:40
it you would definitely need more bottom
10:41
time if you want to keep up with us as
10:43
we travel around the world make sure to
10:45
follow me on instagram at real mark vinz

11:07
sleeping lemon sharks hope that one made
11:11
us nervous
